Intro Mending Workshop
Not sure what to do when your favorite top gets a hole or your pants are too long?
Learning some basic mending and alteration techniques can go a long way!
In this 3 hour, hand-sewing workshop for beginner sewists, you will learn some simple stitches that will extend the lives + give new life to your favorite items.
Please bring 3-5 pieces to the workshop so I can help match with your skill level. I will provide fabric scraps to use as patches but please bring your own if you wish to match your fabric. Thread will also be provided but please bring your own if you require a specific color.
Examples of things to bring:
Pants that need hemming
Clothing with holes
Broken straps
Towels or linens with small rips or holes
Examples of things NOT to bring:
Knitted or crocheted clothing or blankets
Items with rips larger than 10” that require a sewing machine for mending
Heavy weight fabrics (anything heavier than denim)

Cancellation policy: Space is limited so if you need to cancel please let us know one week prior to the workshop to receive a full refund.
Experience needed: This is a beginner level so no prior sewing knowledge is needed to attend.
Ages: 14 and up (Please reach out if you wish to bring someone younger than 14)
